Compensation: $100,000–$150,000 base salary, plus bonus opportunity

Divorce Matters® is growing, and we are looking for a Family Law Associate Attorney to join our Colorado family law practice. This is a strong opportunity for an attorney who has litigation or family law experience and wants to continue developing as a confident, effective family law attorney.

What You Will Do
• Manage family law cases with increasing independence
• Represent clients in status conferences, mediations, hearings, and other court proceedings
• Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, settlement documents, and other family law filings
• Develop case strategy with support from experienced attorneys and firm leadership
• Communicate directly with clients in a clear, professional, and compassionate manner
• Prepare clients for mediation, hearings, and contested litigation
• Work closely with paralegals, attorneys, LLPs, intake staff, and firm leadership
• Move cases forward efficiently while maintaining excellent client service
• Participate in consultations and help prospective clients understand the process
• Maintain a minimum annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours
What We Are Looking For
• Colorado law license in good standing
• Approximately 2–4 years of family law, domestic litigation, civil litigation, criminal litigation, or courtroom experience preferred
• Strong interest in family law
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple client matters
• Strong professional judgment and follow-through
• Client-service mindset and ability to build trust with clients
• Team-oriented attitude and genuine interest in continued growth
• Confidence under pressure, with the humility to keep learning
Work Arrangement
This is a full-time position based in either our DTC/Greenwood Village office, Fort Collins office, or Colorado Springs office. The position is primarily in-office during onboarding and training. Hybrid flexibility may be available after approximately 90 days, depending on performance, training progress, and firm needs.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $150,000, depending on experience, litigation ability, family law background, case-management skill, and overall fit for the role. Bonus opportunity is also available and will be discussed during the interview process.
