The Armstrong Law Group, APC is a workers' compensation defense firm located in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles. Our firm is currently seeking a Defense Workers’ Compensation Lien Negotiator/Paralegal who is organized, has excellent verbal and written skills, and a strong work ethic. Prior Workers' Compensation experience desired, including negotiating and/or defending Workers' Compensation liens.
- Communicate with clients, claim adjusters, defense counsel and medical providers via email and phone
- Coordinate with attorneys to prepare documents and draft deposition summaries along with DOR's
- Obtain balances, itemizations and supporting documentation of liens
- Ability to create billing entries using Tussman software
- Review medical records and draft lien summaries
- Coordinate lien conferences and lien hearings
- Familiar with WCAB procedures
- Familiarity with Abacus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
