The Armstrong Law Group, APC is a workers' compensation defense firm located in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles. Our firm is currently seeking a Defense Workers’ Compensation Lien Negotiator/Paralegal who is organized, has excellent verbal and written skills, and a strong work ethic. Prior Workers' Compensation experience desired, including negotiating and/or defending Workers' Compensation liens.

Communicate with clients, claim adjusters, defense counsel and medical providers via email and phone
Coordinate with attorneys to prepare documents and draft deposition summaries along with DOR's
Obtain balances, itemizations and supporting documentation of liens
Ability to create billing entries using Tussman software
Review medical records and draft lien summaries
Coordinate lien conferences and lien hearings
Familiar with WCAB procedures
Familiarity with Abacus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
