EA/Accountant/Tax Professional:
We are a growing law and CPA firm that specializes in tax resolution. We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Agent, other accounting/legal professional or CPA for a full-time position. Our firm has over three decades of experience in tax resolution with some income tax preparation and other legal services. We endeavor to work as a team in a relaxed but professional environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Preparing and analyzing individual and business accounting records, statements, and reports. Review and analyze client’s financial information for both tax returns and tax resolution cases.
· Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
· Provide tax resolution services to clients: Represent clients in front of the IRS and state tax authorities, conduct research on complex tax issues.
· Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations - Maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation.
Requirements:
· Enrolled Agent certification and/or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
· Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles - Experience with budgeting and financial planning.
· Proficiency in accounts payable processes and procedures.
· Familiarity with wills, trusts, and estate law - Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements.
· Excellent financial report writing skills - Previous experience in public accounting is a plus.
· Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to clients with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
· Should be proficient with tax preparation software such as Lacerte, QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
· Candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and have an ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines. Candidate must also be able to work independently and as a team player, in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
· Salary commensurate with experience. Must have legal status to work in the US.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
