Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of litigation including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials throughout California
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
- Work directly with clients and adjusters, maintaining strong, communicative relationships
- Collaborate with senior attorneys while also managing cases independently
Qualifications:
- Active Member of the California State Bar or in process
- 2+ years of experience in personal injury OR workers’ compensation litigation
- Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience with case management software and legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw)
- Ability to handle a fast-paced caseload with a high level of autonomy and attention to detail
- A strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
