We are a fast-paced personal injury law firm focused on delivering strong client service from the very first interaction. We are looking for a Legal Intake Specialist who can manage new client inquiries, gather critical information, and help set cases up for success.
Position Overview
The Legal Intake Specialist is responsible for handling new client intake and onboarding. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple potential client matters at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client calls and gather relevant case information
- Collect and organize client documentation
- Open new client files in the case management system
- Send letters of representation and request police reports and records
- Ensure all intake documentation is complete and accurate
- Communicate with clients to guide them through the intake process
- Coordinate with internal teams to transition cases smoothly
- Manage multiple intakes while meeting deadlines
Qualifications
- Prior law firm or personal injury experience preferred but not required
- Experience with Smart Advocate or similar case management software preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and phone communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
