Job Title: Civil Litigation Attorney
Location: Remote / Hybrid – Must be located near Newport Beach or City of Industry, CA
Compensation: $200,000 - $300,000 per year
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join the firm. This position offers flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement, with occasional in-person meetings or consultations at the firm’s Newport Beach or City of Industry offices.
This role is best suited for a senior attorney who can independently manage litigation matters, exercise sound judgment on case strategy, and efficiently handle substantive litigation work.
Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Handle depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation proceedings as needed
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court staff
- Manage litigation deadlines and case strategy in coordination with the firm
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 10+ years of civil litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and motion practice skills
- Experience handling discovery, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Ability to work independently and manage litigation matters efficiently
- Must be located within reasonable distance of Newport Beach or City of Industry, California for occasional in-person meetings
Work Arrangement
- Remote or hybrid
- Periodic in-person meetings at the Newport Beach or City of Industry office as needed
Compensation
- $200,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
- Flexible workload depending on availability and case volume
- The firm has substantial litigation work available, and a hardworking, productive attorney will have the opportunity to generate significant income depending on the number of billable hours handled.
Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
