Immediate opening for legal assistant or paralegal. Duties include providing support to our attorneys and senior paralegals preparing and filing documents, gathering documents from clients, and answering client questions . Our goals are to provide excellent service for our clients, and to build relationships with our community and coworkers. The ideal candidate is tech savvy, flexible, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a team environment. The position requires the ability to learn quickly, problem-solve, and work well independently to assist with all aspects of the firm’s work. The ideal candidate has:

Experience in an office setting
Experience using MS Word and Google calendar
A Professional appearance and demeanor with outstanding customer service skills
Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
Capability of writing professional letters and correspondence
Ability to proofread materials and have excellent command of grammar, vocabulary, spelling and usage
A Friendly, outgoing, positive attitude with clients and co-workers
Ability to type at least 40 wpm
Excellent time management skills and work ethic
The ability to win people over with good demeaner and people skills even in the face of challenging issues

Experience in an administrative setting is a must, preferably a law firm, but training will be provided. Preference will be given to an applicant with a college degree.

Typical office hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Flexibility within those hours and days will be considered: Full time 40 hours/ week
