Gould Cooksey Fennell is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join our Estate Planning & Tax Group in Vero Beach.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Reviewing and assessing legal and financial documents
Preparing documents for attorney review, including Florida probate pleadings
Analyzing trusts and preparing trust accountings
Preparing initial drafts of trust and estate-related tax returns, including Forms 706
Coordinating legal, tax, and financial documentation
Communicating professionally with clients and other professional offices
Using sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
Managing files and keeping matters organized
Working independently to meet deadlines
Supporting attorneys, team members, and colleagues on projects as needed

What We’re Looking For

At least 5 years of related paralegal experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
File management experience
