Position Overview
Established New York City real estate law practice seeks an experienced Senior Real Estate Paralegal to independently manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can handle files autonomously in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing
- Draft, review, and organize real estate documentation, including:
- Contracts of sale, riders, amendments, and addenda
- Orders, title reports, surveys, liens, and mortgage payoffs
- Review and clear title issues; coordinate with title companies, lenders, brokers, and managing agents
- Monitor and control contractual deadlines, contingencies, and closing calendars
- Prepare and submit filings through NYSCEF and applicable County Clerk systems
- Oversee post-closing follow-up and complete file maintenance
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with NYC real estate closing procedures
Required Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of NYC real estate paralegal experience
- Substantial hands-on experience with both residential and commercial transactions
- Comprehensive knowledge of NYC real estate closing procedures, title, mortgage, and recording practices
- Ability to manage files independently with minimal attorney supervision
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and deadline control
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and real estate case-management platforms

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
