Experienced Family Law Paralegal
The Paralegal's primary responsibility is to assists the lawyers in preparing legal documents for upcoming hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials. Their main duties include preparing drafting Initial Pleadings, Motions, Financial Affidavits, etc and discussing case details with attorneys and clients, preparing files for court appearances and hearings, scheduling hearings and ensuring legal assistances are (1) organizing discovery received from both clients and opposing parties, (2) properly calendaring deadlines, court hearings, etc.

Job Responsibilities
● Draft Motions, Petitions, Pleadings, Subpoenas, Objections, etc.
● Assist with trial preparations, hearings and mediations
● Organize cases for efficient case meetings
● Reach out to opposing counsels and clients
● Delegate non-billable tasks to support staff
● Assist attorneys at Trial/Hearing by being present and providing live feedback on the case.
Qualifications
- Paralegal experience with at least 5 years in family law
- Able to track all billable time
- Strong research and legal drafting skills
- Knowledge of family law
- Experience in legal case management and document review
- Excellent writing skills
- Must speak Spanish
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
