Seeking associate attorney, full time position, for federal appellate matters.
Base salary is $75,000, with additional profit sharing based upon receivables.
Primary focus will be claims and appeals before the Veterans Administration, Board of Veterans Appeals, Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, and Military Review Boards. A law degree and active law license in any state is required at time of starting position unless applicant is a recent graduate that is preparing for the Bar exam.
Upon hire, associate will be required to apply for admission from the Veterans Administration and Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, if not already admitted.
Desired skills:
· Familiarity with WestLaw
· Superior legal writing skills
· Able to accurately track and stick to deadlines
· Ability to research and summarize medical studies, treatises, and articles
· Desire to interact with veteran population
· Prior military experience is highly desirable
