We are seeking a full‐time Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of civil litigation experience to join our Houston law firm. This immediate opening is ideal for a lawyer interested in construction defect litigation, general civil litigation, and property damage disputes. Responsibilities

Manage litigation matters involving construction defects, property damage, commercial litigation, contract disputes, and general civil litigation
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and fact witnesses
Appear in Harris County, surrounding Texas state courts, and federal courts for hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy with senior attorneys
Communicate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school
3–5 years of experience as a litigation attorney
Interest/experience in construction defect litigation, commercial litigation, or insurance defense
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple cases
Excellent communication and client‐management skills
Active Texas bar license in good standing
