Tentinger Law Firm is seeking a motivated and compassionate licensed attorney to join our Mankato office. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney who wants meaningful, hands-on legal experience and the opportunity to build a strong foundation in both family and criminal law.

You’ll gain direct courtroom experience, client interaction, and case strategy involvement while working on a diverse range of cases in a supportive and team-oriented environment. This role also offers the opportunity to gain experience handling matters throughout Greater Minnesota and the Twin Cities, providing valuable exposure to different courts, communities, and legal issues.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, and support cases
Represent clients in criminal law matters, including arraignments, omnibus hearings, and trials
Draft and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs
Work directly with clients to provide guidance and updates on their cases

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota (required)
0–3 years of experience in family or criminal law (including law clerk or externship experience)
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to work independently on projects
Strong organizational skills
Client-service-oriented mindset
