Fully Remote Bilingual Spanish (English) Paralegal- Personal Injury

Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced, bilingual (English/Spanish) paralegal to support our attorneys in all phases of personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with clients from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with case management from intake through resolution
Draft and file notices, discovery responses, requests for hearing, and other legal documents
Communicate with clients (in both English & Spanish), medical providers, opposing counsel, and insurers
Maintain case files and deposition calendars
Obtain records and billing statements from various medical providers
Obtain subrogation liens from group health insurance carriers and government agencies (i.e., Medicare CMS, Medicaid)
Experience negotiating these liens.
Support attorneys with hearing and trial preparation (when needed)

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury
Prior experience in Workers' Compensation
Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written) required
Strong knowledge of Illinois legal procedures and court filings
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Proficiency with case management software (e.g., FileVine) Google Workspace/Gmail & Office
