We want a lawyer who is eager to master litigation, continually improve, and be part of building something exceptional. This is not a “sit back and coast” law firm. This is a high-performance environment built around accountability, innovation, and results.

Compensation includes:

$100,000.00 base salary
5% bonus on net attorney fees from cases you settle
50% of attorney fees generated from the business you bring to the firm

Most attorneys in this role can expect to earn over $120,000.00 in their first year here, with upside earning potential.

This is a WFH position, but you must live in and be licensed in Illinois.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

Handle injury cases from filing through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
Take and defend depositions
Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Develop a case strategy alongside our litigation team
Analyze medical records, evidence, and liability issues
Communicate directly with clients and guide them through the litigation process
Work closely with experts, medical providers, and support staff
Move cases proactively and aggressively toward resolution
Help improve litigation systems, workflows, and processes as the firm grows

You will have a dedicated paralegal to help you with your job.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 6–12 months, success in this role looks like:

Managing litigation files confidently and proactively
Building trust with clients through strong communication and preparation
Moving cases efficiently while maximizing case value
Becoming highly effective with our systems, technology, and workflows
Working collaboratively with paralegals, case managers, and leadership
Developing a reputation internally as someone who is organized, reliable, strategic, and prepared
Helping strengthen the culture and performance of the litigation department

Qualifications:

Required:

Licensed in IL
3+ years of litigation experience
Experience with hearings, motion practice, discovery, and depositions
Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage deadlines and litigation strategy proactively
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high standards and accountability

Preferred:

Personal injury experience
Trial experience or meaningful trial exposure
Experience handling a high-volume litigation caseload
Experience using modern legal technology and case management systems

We are open to candidates outside of personal injury law if you have strong litigation fundamentals and courtroom experience.
