Herrera Law Group in Rogers is seeking a paralegal/legal assistant to join our team. We handle immigration, criminal, family, and other matters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal support and administrative tasks and must be fluent in Spanish and English. Experience with immigration cases is preferred but not required.

Applicants must have at least two years of experience in a similar role. Pay is negotiable for those with more relevant experience and education.

Depending on your education and prior experience your duties will include some or all of the following. On the job training is available for all areas.

1. Organizing and maintaining case files.

2. Conducting research on case law, statutes, and regulations.

3. Drafting motions, pleadings, subpoenas, petitions, agreements, and court orders.

4. Interviewing clients and witnesses.

5. Filing documents with courts and retrieving documents.

6. Assisting in preparing evidence and exhibits for trial.

7. Managing communication with clients, courts, and other parties.

8. Maintaining detailed records of client information and case documents.

9. Assisting in the discovery process, including gathering and organizing evidence.

10. Assisting in preparation for mediation sessions.

11. Completing immigration forms and applications.

12. Conducting client interviews to gather necessary information.

13. Assisting in preparing clients for immigration hearings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
