Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant / Paralegal

Location: Moorestown, NJ (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $35–$40/hour ($63,700–$72,800 annually), based on experience

Overview

Our client, a well-established, mid-sized law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support a team of experienced attorneys in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, accuracy, and collaboration, with a strong background in commercial real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Support attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions and closings
Prepare and coordinate closing documents, including communication with title companies and lending institutions
Assist with assembling and reviewing closing packages and supporting documentation
Create and maintain comprehensive closing binders
Assist with land use and development applications and related filings
Draft and manage miscellaneous legal documents and contracts
Maintain attorney calendars, track deadlines, and manage time entries
Assist with billing processes and ensure accurate timekeeping records

Qualifications

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate law
Notary Public (NJ) required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word (including templates and styles) and Outlook
Working knowledge of Excel
Experience with iManage and/or Centerbase is a plus
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative legal team
